With this subscription, we perform exterior inspections on a regular schedule to detect any repairs or mitigations before they become costly. However, there are some aspects of your property that we cannot inspect due to our professional limitations. Guardian Inspect is not a licensed structural engineering firm. We do not offer structural soundness inspections as part of our services. Structural soundness inspections require specialized expertise and certification; while we do not possess those certifications, we can aid in facilitating those inspections.

We make this clear distinction to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ensure that you receive the most accurate and reliable assessments of your property. If you need structural soundness inspections, we strongly recommend hiring a licensed structural engineer – we can provide recommendations if you don’t currently work with one – who has the necessary qualifications to perform such inspections. If, during the course of an inspection, we find defects that may suggest structural concerns, we will help you locate and schedule an inspection with a licensed structural engineer.
